Bluetooth Connectivity: Hear OTC Hearing Aids

If you are having trouble connecting your JLab Hear OTC hearing aids to your phone, the steps below will help. Your hearing aids have two different modes to let you choose which way works best for you.

 

• Use hearing aid only mode if you don't need Bluetooth and want improved battery life.

 

• Bluetooth and hearing aid mode allows you to stream media, take calls, use the JLab Hear app features (iOS or Android), all while being able to switch seamlessly to an OTC hearing aid.

 

                      

 

• Begin by opening the lid to the charging case.
• Using two fingers, press and hold both touch sensors for 3+ seconds until the lights start blinking.

 

                    

 

• If the lights blink blue, your Hear is now in Bluetooth connection mode.
• If your lights are blinking white, your Hear is in hearing aid only mode

 

• You can repeat this process to enter the desired hearing mode.

 

• They will automatically enter pairing mode after taking out of the case.
• Simply go to your phone's Bluetooth settings to connect!
