Changing the Name of Your Device (Bluetooth & JLab App)

How to change device name on IOS:

• STEP 1: Open device IOS settings and access the Bluetooth menu.
• STEP 2: Once on Bluetooth menu, find the device you want to rename and click on the blue information button.

• STEP 3: Tap the name section of the new menu that pops up.

• STEP 4: Change device name to desired name.

How to change device name on Android:

• STEP 1: Open device IOS settings and access the Bluetooth menu.
• STEP 2: Once on Bluetooth menu, ensure the device is paired, and click on the gear setting next to the paired device.

• STEP 3: You will be taken to the device menu. Tap on the rename button on the bottom right. The keyboard should appear with a bar where you can type in your desired name.

How to change device name on JLab app:

• STEP 1: Open the JLab app, and select your device.
• STEP 2: Once on the device menu, hold down on the device name until the name change menu pops up.

• STEP 3: This will open a text bar and the keyboard, change the name to whatever name is desired.
