How to use the Daybreak Wireless Headset
Enjoy all-night comfort and dual driver audio clarity with the Daybreak Wireless Gaming Headset.
Device Setup
- Before first use, be sure to charge your Daybreak Wireless using the USB-C input on the right earcup.

Connectivity

Use the USB-C dongle with your PC or Console for a high-quality and low-latency audio connection.
- Make sure the headset's connection switch is in the Green (top) position to connect with the 2.4 GHz stream only.
- Simply plug the dongle into your computer, and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on your headset.

- Pair via Bluetooth to your phone or tablet for a stable and long-range connection.

- Place the connection switch in the Blue (bottom) position to connect over Bluetooth only, and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on your headset.
- Tap on "JLab Daybreak Wireless" in your device's Bluetooth settings to pair.

- While in the Bluetooth only mode, you can also establish a Multipoint connection with 2 separate Bluetooth devices.
- Use Dual Stream to simultaneously receive audio from 2 separate devices.

- Once you have Bluetooth and Dongle connections established, move the connection switch to the Mixed (middle) position to activate Dual Stream.

- Rotating the volume wheel up will increase output from both sources.
- Press and hold the volume wheel in while rotating up or down to balance the output between sources.
- The Daybreak Headset can also be connected with 3.5mm aux while powered, so you can still use all of your same EQs, ENC effects, and button assignments.

- Plug the 3.5mm aux cable into the right earcup, then into your console or PC.
- Hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on your headset to establish the connection.

Comfort and Personalization

The Daybreak Headset comes with Cloud Foam sets of both Breathable Mesh and Faux Leather ear cushions.
- Use the Faux Leather to achieve better passive noise cancellation and increased bass response.
- The Breathable Mesh keeps your ears cool with air flow, while also making the soundstage more open and natural.

- Simply pull the cushion straight off of the earcup to remove.
- Make sure the R or L cushion aligns with the correct earcup side, then firmly press in at the joints.

The headband can be moved up or down the posts to adjust for your head size.
- Three independent adjustment levels for the left and right, gives you a total of 6 height combinations to try.

- Take the headband off the posts to swap which pattern is displayed.
- The boom mic can be removed while not in use, and you can still take calls using the onboard headset microphone.

- Pull the mic straight down to remove.
- Make sure to line up the key facing the earcup, then insert the mic into the headset.

- Activate dts Headphone:X (V4) spatial audio through The Lab app for Windows.
- Mix and match various Surround Sound Modes with the 3 Super Stereo formats.
- Achieve the perfect sound profile using independent EQ sliders for each Surround Sound Mode.

Mic Controls
- Adjust the headset's Mic Level to achieve the perfect input volume on any device.
- Tune the Voice EQ to make your voice sound optimal.
- Set the perfect Hear Yourself level for a natural talking experience.

On-Ear Controls
- Default controls are shown below, but you can also customize headset buttons with a variety of commands in The Lab app.

Sound EQs
- Adjust the Custom EQ sliders to achieve the perfect sound, or quickly change between the presets for Gaming and Music.
