How to use the Daybreak Wireless Headset

Enjoy all-night comfort and dual driver audio clarity with the Daybreak Wireless Gaming Headset.

Device Setup

  •  Before first use, be sure to charge your Daybreak Wireless using the USB-C input on the right earcup.

Connectivity

  •  Use the USB-C dongle with your PC or Console for a high-quality and low-latency audio connection.
    • Make sure the headset's connection switch is in the Green (top) position to connect with the 2.4 GHz stream only.
    • Simply plug the dongle into your computer, and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on your headset.

  •  Pair via Bluetooth to your phone or tablet for a stable and long-range connection.
    •  Place the connection switch in the Blue (bottom) position to connect over Bluetooth only, and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on your headset.
    • Tap on "JLab Daybreak Wireless" in your device's Bluetooth settings to pair.
    • While in the Bluetooth only mode, you can also establish a Multipoint connection with 2 separate Bluetooth devices.

  • Use Dual Stream to simultaneously receive audio from 2 separate devices.
    • Once you have Bluetooth and Dongle connections established, move the connection switch to the Mixed (middle) position to activate Dual Stream.

    • Rotating the volume wheel up will increase output from both sources.
    • Press and hold the volume wheel in while rotating up or down to balance the output between sources.

  •  The Daybreak Headset can also be connected with 3.5mm aux while powered, so you can still use all of your same EQs, ENC effects, and button assignments.
    •  Plug the 3.5mm aux cable into the right earcup, then into your console or PC.
    • Hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on your headset to establish the connection.

 Comfort and Personalization

  • The Daybreak Headset comes with Cloud Foam sets of both Breathable Mesh and Faux Leather ear cushions.
    • Use the Faux Leather to achieve better passive noise cancellation and increased bass response.
    • The Breathable Mesh keeps your ears cool with air flow, while also making the soundstage more open and natural.

      • Simply pull the cushion straight off of the earcup to remove.
      • Make sure the R or L cushion aligns with the correct earcup side, then firmly press in at the joints.

  • The headband can be moved up or down the posts to adjust for your head size.
    • Three independent adjustment levels for the left and right, gives you a total of 6 height combinations to try.

  • Take the headband off the posts to swap which pattern is displayed.

  • The boom mic can be removed while not in use, and you can still take calls using the onboard headset microphone.

    • Pull the mic straight down to remove.
    • Make sure to line up the key facing the earcup, then insert the mic into the headset.
