Feature Overview: Epic Sport ANC 3
The all-new Epic Sport ANC 3 contains advanced features that make it an optimal choice for an active lifestyle. This article will explain some of the new capabilities you get, and how to activate them on your Epic Sport.
Interval Workout Timer
Using the interval timer with your Epic Sport ANC 3 is a simple and convenient way to track your set and rest periods while working out to your favorite tracks.
- Make sure you connect your earbuds to your phone's Bluetooth first (see here if you need help).
- Next, you need to download the JLab app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Tap on your product in the app, and you will now have access to all your product's features!
- Tapping on the interval timer tab gives you the ability to adjust your Active Workout Time, Rest Time, and the number of sets you want to have in your workout.
- You have two options to start your workout timer, with the Start Workout button below or by assigning it to one of your earbuds controls (see more below).
- The app does not need to be open for the timer to continue, just listen for the Workout Start, Set Start, Rest Start, and Workout Finish tones to follow along.
- Just keep the JLab App open in your phone's background!
Spatial Audio
The JLab app also lets you activate spatialized audio to give you better immersion into your favorite music or podcast.
Control Customizations
The JLab app allows you to customize your Epic Sport ANC 3 to fit your specific needs!
Changing Touch Controls:
- Navigate to the Touch Controls tab on the Epic Sport ANC 3 app page.
- Here, you can see the default controls that the touch and swipe sensors are assigned (if you ever want these back, tap the "Reset to Default" button at the bottom of the tab)
- The first 4 rows are where you can independently assign controls to the Left and Right touch sensors.
- The last 2 rows are where you can assign different controls for swiping up or down on your Left and Right swipe sensors.
- This section has all new controls for the Interval Timer including:
- Start/Stop Timer, Play/Pause Timer, Add 30s to Timer, Add 1min to Timer, Skip Interval, and Restart Interval.
- These controls can be assigned to any combination of swipe up/down, or tap/hold sequences to give you ultimate customization of your Epic Sport.
Noise Control Switching:
- The noise control section allows you to switch which listening mode you want to be in:
- Noise Cancelling Off, Be Aware, and Noise Cancelling On.
- When you change the Noise Control through the touch or swipe sensors, it will cycle through these three modes.
- The switches on the left side of the Noise Control tab allow you to select which modes you want your touch or swipe sensors to cycle through.
- If you only want to use Noise Cancelling and Be Aware, all you need to do is deselect the switch next to Noise Cancelling Off.
- The bar above Noise Cancelling and Be Aware modes gives you the ability to adjust the audio strength.
Charging Abilities
- Look for the blue light on the case to indicate the earbuds charging, a white one on the case means they are in between 25% and 100% charge, and the red light means that there is less than 25% battery (charge case).
- The integrated USB-C cable on the bottom of the earbuds can be powered by a computer, phone, or power adapter that has a USB-C output.
- With the new wireless charging ability in your Epic Sport, you now have the option of simply placing the case on a wireless charger.
- A pulsing white light means that the case is charging, while a solid white light means the case is fully charged.
