Feature Overview: JBuds Open Headphone

The JBuds Open Headphone takes an exciting twist to open audio, providing you with the comfort of over-ear headphones, while being able to hear a natural representation of your environment. 

 

Device Setup

  • Charge your wireless headphones using the USB-C input on the right earcup.

Connectivity

  • Press and hold the power button for 8 seconds to put the JBuds Open Headphone in Bluetooth pairing mode, then connect in your phone, tablet, or laptop's Bluetooth settings.


  • To use the headphones wired, begin by making sure they are powered off. Plug a USB-C data cable into the same USB-C port on the right earcup, and connect the other end to your phone or computer. Use this for a low-latency, crystal clear audio setup!



    Multipoint Bluetooth Connection

    A multipoint connection allows the JBuds Open Headphones to stay connected with two devices simultaneously. Audio will seamlessly switch when media plays on either device.

    • Pair your headphones with your first device.
    • Turn off Bluetooth on that device.

     

    • Pair the headphones with your second device.

       

      • Re-enable Bluetooth on the first device.

       

      Now your headphones can automatically switch audio between devices without having to do it manually.





      Fit and Style

      • The metal backplate can be removed to let you decide on the style. Firmly hold the earcup and twist the ear cushions counter-clockwise. The metal backplate can now be pushed out and removed from the headphone. To assemble, line the headphone's and earcup's notches up, then firmly twist clockwise to lock it back together.

       

      • To find the optimal position for the dual-drivers drivers, move the headphones back until you feel them touching your ears, now adjust them forward slightly so the drivers do not contact your ears.

       

       

       

      On-Ear Controls

      • The volume buttons allow you to raise or lower your media volume with a single press, restart or skip your track by holding for 2 seconds, and change the EQ by simultaneously holding both buttons for 1 second.

        • The power button lets you play/pause media with 1 press, activate your voice assistant with 2 presses, and go into LabShare with 5 presses.
        • While receiving a call press once to answer and hold for 2 seconds to reject, while the call is active you can use press once to end the call.



            JLab App Customization

            Take full control of your listening experience with the JLab App, available on the Play Store and App Store:

            • Adjust EQ settings for deep bass, balanced audio, or crystal-clear treble.

            • Customize the button controls to a wide variety of functions, including interval timer controls.
            • The Interval timer allows you to set custom active and rest sessions, all activated through your headphone buttons!

             

            • Activate spatial audio for a 3D sound stage, choose to disable voice prompts, use the low-latency Movie Mode, and set a listening limit to protect your hearing.

            • The Bluetooth Connections tab allows you to switch between your previously connected devices, and quickly enter pairing mode with your headphones.
