Customizing Lighting on Daybreak and Midnight Keyboards

The Midnight and Daybreak Keyboards feature 13 pre-programmed lighting animations, and custom per-key static backlighting.

Begin customization by installing The Lab app, and opening your keyboard's Lighting Control page.

Animated Lighting Adjustments:

• Speed: adjust the speed of each animation by selecting more or less dots. 

 

• Brightness: adjust the LED brightness by dragging the slider left or right.

 

• Color: LED color is set to full RGB by default. To choose a different color, enable the color selection switch and drag the color slider.

 

• Direction: tap the rotational icon to reverse the animation direction.

 

 

Static Lighting Adjustments:

• You can assign per-key lighting by clicking individual keys, dragging to select keys, or using the selection buttons on the top of the page.

 

• Once your desired keys are selected, drag the color slider to your preferred color. 
• To quickly fill in your remaining key selections, use the Reverse Selection button to invert your current selected keys.

 

• You can assign custom colors to any key, simply clear your current key selection and choose a new key to modify.
