How To: Factory Reset JLab Earbuds

If your JLab earbuds are not pairing together, or only one earbud is connecting separately to your phone, this guide will outline the two different reset methods for JLab earbuds. This will also go over the reset steps for wireless JLab speakers and headphones if you are having issues . 

  • It is important to be sure that your device is sufficiently charged to perform the reset (we recommend plugging your device in for about 10 minutes).

Next, ensure that you forget your JLab product from any Bluetooth device(s) you want to pair them with:

  • For iOS: Tap Settings Tap "Bluetooth" Tap on your JLab product from your device menu → Tap "Forget This Device".
  • For Android: Tap Settings → Tap "Connections" or "Connected Devices" → Tap Bluetooth → Tap on the Gear icon next to your JLab product from your saved devices menu → Tap "Forget" or "Unpair".

 

True Wireless Tap to Reset Steps:

This reset method is applicable to the following earbuds: Go Air Pop, GO Air Sport, Go Air Tones, Go Pop ANC, Go Pop+, GO Sport+, Go Tones+, Hear OTC, JBuds Air ANC, JBuds Air Pro ANC, JBuds Air Pro, JBuds Air Sport, JBuds Mini, JBuds ANC 3, JBuds Sport ANC 4, Work Buds, Epic Air ANC Gen 2, Epic Air ANC, Epic Lab Edition, Epic Open Sport, Epic Sport ANC 3.

Begin by opening your earbuds' charging case, and keep them placed inside.

  • Quickly tap the right earbud 7 times on the JLab logo (touch sensor location).

    • The earbud's light will flash 4 times indicating this was done successfully.

 

  • Now you can quickly tap the on left earbud 7 times.

    • The earbud's LED will flash 4 times indicating this was done successfully.

 

  • You can now take the right earbud out of the case, followed by removing the left earbud. One earbud will turn solid white while the other flashes between white and blue, indicating they are in pairing mode.

  • iOS: Enter Settings ---> Tap on Bluetooth settings ---> Under Other Devices you can tap on your product's name to pair.
  • Android: Enter Settings ---> Tap on Devices ---> Tap on Pair new device and select your product's name to pair.

 

 

 

True Wireless Case Button Reset Steps:

This reset method is applicable to the following earbuds: GO Pods ANC, Flex Open Earbuds, JBuds Pods ANC.
  • Hold the reset button on the charging case for about 3 seconds.

    • The LED on the front of the charging case will flash to indicate the earbuds were successfully reset.

 

  • You can now take the right earbud out of the case, followed by removing the left earbud. One earbud will turn solid white while the other flashes between white and blue, indicating they are in pairing mode.

  • iOS: Enter Settings ---> Tap on Bluetooth settings ---> Under Other Devices you can tap on your product's name to pair.
  • Android: Enter Settings ---> Tap on Devices ---> Tap on Pair new device and select your product's name to pair.

 

 

 

Wireless Headphone Rest Steps:

Begin by making sure the LED next to the button controls is off, indicating your headphones are powered off.

  • Hold the power button for about 8 seconds to place the headphones into pairing mode, and the LED will flash between red and blue to indicate this.

 

  • iOS: Enter Settings ---> Tap on Bluetooth settings ---> Under Other Devices you can tap on your product's name to pair.
  • Android: Enter Settings ---> Tap on Devices ---> Tap on Pair new device and select your product's name to pair.

 

 

 

Wireless Speaker Rest Steps:

Begin by making sure the LED next to the button controls is off, indicating your speaker is powered off.

  • Hold the power button for about 8 seconds to place the speaker into pairing mode, and the LED will flash between red and blue to indicate this.

 

  • iOS: Enter Settings ---> Tap on Bluetooth settings ---> Under Other Devices you can tap on your product's name to pair.
  • Android: Enter Settings ---> Tap on Devices ---> Tap on Pair new device and select your product's name to pair.
