Using AI Shortcuts with JLab Keyboards and Mice
With your Flow/JBuds/Epic keyboard or mouse, you are able to assign custom key functions through the JLab Work App. Using Windows 11 allows you to add quick AI access to your peripherals with Copilot or any desired AI application.
Before you start, make sure your peripheral is connected through the 2.4 GHz Dongle connection (not Bluetooth).
- You can download the JLab Work App here for Windows and Mac.
Windows 10 and 11 Guide:
- In the JLab App, click on your highlighted product to start customizing it

- Click on your desired button or key, then click "KEYBOARD"


Using Microsoft Copilot (Windows 11 only):
- Press the Space Bar on your keyboard
- Check the "Alt" box underneath
- Click "OK" to confirm your shortcut

Using ChatGPT, Gemini, Llama, or Claude applications (Windows 10 and 11):
- Make sure the app or web page is downloaded to your computer
- Right click on your AI application, and select "Pin to taskbar"
Move to the JLab App:
- Select "KEYBOARD"
- Press the number key associated with the taskbar slot that your AI app is located in
- Check the "WIN" box underneath
- Click "OK" to confirm your shortcut

- Click "Apply" at the bottom right of the screen to finalize the profile for your JLab keyboard or mouse.

Mac Guide:
Step 1: Assigning with MacOS Shortcuts
- Start by pressing Alt + Space, or clicking the Magnifying Glass in the top right.
- Search for "Shortcuts" and open the application.

Click the "+" symbol at the top of the page to create a new shortcut.

- Search for "Open App" using the menu, and double click the tab.

- Double click the blue "App" text in the middle of the page.
- Search for your desired AI application, and double click on it.

- Click on the information button on the top right of the page.
- Click on "Add Keyboard Shortcut" in the list bellow.

Hold "Control" and press "Space" on your keyboard to set your shortcut.
- Note: the JLab app supports assigning "Control", "Shift", "Option", or "Command" with any other given key press. You will need to match this command set in "Shortcuts" and in the JLab app.

Step 2: Assigning with the JLab Work App
- In the JLab App, click on your highlighted product to start customizing it:

- Click on your desired button or key, then click "Keyboard"


- Press the Space Bar on your keyboard
- Check the "Control" box underneath
- Click "OK" to confirm your shortcut

- Finally, click "Apply" at the bottom right of the screen to finalize the profile for your JLab keyboard or mouse.
