How to use LabShare
JLab LabShare allows you to connect two JLab headphones using a single Bluetooth audio source, allowing for a shared audio experience with a friend.
Please note that LabShare can only be used between two, like models and Firmware (JLab app compatible models), as shown on the JLab app. This article will demonstrate this process with the JBuds Lux ANC headphones but can be used with any of the listed models below.
- To begin, make sure that your first pair of headphones are connected to the intended source of audio (Phone, Tablet, Computer), and leave it on.
- Now with your second pair of headphones being powered off, press and hold the power button for around 8 seconds, or until you notice the indicator light on the unit start flashing red and blue.
- From here, quickly press this same power button five times. This will cause the indicator light to flash blue.
- Switch over to your first pair of headphones and repeat the previous step: press power button five times.
- Once a connection is successfully established, both headphones will announce a “sharing” voice prompt and will show a solid blue indicator light.
Your audio will now be synced in both headphones and will allow for the volume to be adjusted independently, on units that have on board volume buttons.
If the connection is unsuccessful, please power both headphones off and try these steps again.
