How to set up Apple Find My with JBuds Mini ANC
Connect your JBuds Mini ANC case to Apple Find My on iOS and iPadOS, so you can locate it, play a sound, and share its location if it goes missing.
This will link the charging case to your Apple account across Find My compatible devices.
Note: Apple Find My works with the JBuds Mini ANC charging case only. It is not supported on the earbuds themselves, and it is not available on regular JBuds Mini (non-ANC).
Connecting with Apple Find My
- Quickly open and close the case 2 times.
- Keep the lid open on the 3rd time.
- A chime will play to indicate the case is in Find My pairing mode.
- If you do not hear a chime, close the case lid and try the steps again.
- Open the Apple Find My app, and select the Items tab at the bottom of the page.
- Select the + in the top right of the page.
- Select Other Item to add to your Find My account.
- Connect to your JLab JBuds Mini ANC in the discovery page.
- Select the name you want to display in Find My.
- Select the emoji you want to display in Find My.
Modifying Find My settings
- Tap on your connected JBuds Mini ANC to access additional settings:
- Tap on Play Sound to ping your JBuds Mini ANC case.
- Get immediate directions to your case's location.
- Share your case location with other iOS users.
- Share your contact info with iOS users nearby your lost case.
- Prevent forgotten case notifications from triggering at specific locations (for example, home, school, or work).
- Change the name and emoji of your case.
- Remove the case from your iCloud and Find My account.
