JBuds Mini ANC Apple Find My: Notifications and Lost Items
The JLab JBuds Mini ANC can use Bluetooth technology along with Apple’s Find My network to determine the general location of your charging case.
Using the Apple Find My network, you are also able to mark the JBuds Mini ANC charging case as lost if you cannot locate/retrieve the unit.
- In the “Lost Item” section of the Find My app, you can choose to share your iCloud Contact Info, allowing other Apple users to reach out if they find your Lost charging case. Here you are also able to temporarily share the location of the item with a trusted person or an airline.

The Charging case can also be set up to notify you if you accidentally leave it behind.
- To activate this setting, ensure that “Location Services” are enabled on your Apple device, then navigate to the Notifications section.

- Turn on the “Notify When Left Behind” option. In addition to this feature, you are also able to set up a trusted location that would ignore the Left Behind Rule that was set up.
If you are noticing false reports of your earbuds having been left behind, outside of a designated trusted location, this can be due to temporary loss of communication between your Apple product and your JLab earbuds.
In this case, it is recommended that you give your Apple device a quick restart to refresh all its Bluetooth connections.
In addition to this step, temporarily disconnecting Bluetooth devices that are not currently in use can improve wireless performance of other Bluetooth dependent services, such as the Left behind feature.
