Feature Overview: Pop Party

The Pop Party was designed to take on the go, making it a convenient speaker option for any situation. Achieve fully customizable lighting, sound modes, and LabSync audio sharing with the Pop Party Bluetooth speaker.

Device Setup

  • To charge the Pop Party, remove the gasket next to the multifunction button and plug in your USB-C cable.
    • Make sure to properly secure the gasket after charging to keep out water and dust.

  • To pair with your device, hold the multifunction button for about 8 seconds.

  • The LED will flash red and blue to indicate pairing mode. Enter your device's Bluetooth settings to connect.

  • Press the multifunction button once to play and pause media, twice to cycle through LED animations, and three times to cycle through EQs.

On the Go

  • The strap on the speaker's side can slide out horizontally and secure to your belt loop, backpack, or bicycle.

LabSync

Cast mode is for the speaker connected to your device and casting media to your LabSync group.

  • The Pop Party should be actively connected with your device's Bluetooth.
  • Press the multifunction button 5 times quickly to enter Cast mode.

Receive mode is for other speakers in your LabSync group.

  • Hold the power button to enter pairing mode with your Pop Party.
  • Press the multifunction button 5 times quickly to enter Receive mode.

App Features

With the JLab app for iOS and Android, you can customize the Pop Party to fit your preferences.

  • In the Lighting tab you can cycle between 6 animations, adjust each color, change animation speed, and adjust LED brightness.

  • Choose between 3 preset EQs, or fine-tune your sound with Custom EQ.

  • The LabSync tab lets you assign left or right speaker channels and choose whether to sync lighting effects between connected speakers.

  • Modify multifunction button controls, or use the switch to turn off voice prompts.

  • The Battery Saver tab helps you get the most life out of the Pop Party. Set auto power off after a certain time, or turn off lighting when the battery reaches a certain percentage.
