How to Use LabSync With JLab Party Speakers
LabSync technology allows you to group together any combination of JLab Party speakers (GO, Pop, JBuds, Epic). All speakers can be put into Cast and Receive mode through the button controls, or by connecting with the JLab app on iOS and Android.
Below are the speaker-dependent button controls to enter LabSync:
iOS LabSync Guide:
The LabSync tab in the JLab app lets you assign Left or Right audio channels to connected speakers, and select whether to sync lighting effects and volume level between connected speakers.
Entering Cast Mode:
- Make sure your Party speaker is connected with your phone's Bluetooth, then proceed to connect in the JLab app.

- Adjust your lighting animation settings, Custom EQ profile, and battery settings before continuing to the LabSync tab.

- In the Cast tab, drag the slider to Left, Right, or Stereo to set the audio channel that this speaker will output during LabSync.

- Select Sync Volume if you want all Receiving speakers to match the volume level set on your phone and through the Casting speaker.
- If you do not Sync Volume, you will be able to independently adjust the volume level of speakers in your LabSync group through the volume wheels.
- This is beneficial if you're listening to the speakers at different distances.

- Select Sync Lights if you want all Receiving speakers to use the same lighting animations and settings as the Casting speaker.
- If you do not Sync Lights, you will be able to independently cycle lighting animations between speakers in your LabSync group.

- To access Receive mode within the JLab app, your Party speaker will initially need to be connected with your phone's Bluetooth.

- Adjust your lighting animation settings, Custom EQ profile, and battery settings before continuing to the LabSync tab.

- In the Receive tab, drag the slider to Left, Right, or Stereo to set the audio channel that this speaker will output during LabSync.
- Tap on "Start Receiving" to place your speaker into LabSync.

- All Party speakers will disconnect from the JLab app while in LabSync mode, customize your speaker settings before entering LabSync.
- To exit LabSync mode and reconnect with the app, turn your speaker off and then back on.
- Turning off the Casting speaker first will automatically power off any connected Receiving speakers while in LabSync mode.
- LabSync and L/R/Stereo channel settings are remembered, and activate whenever the speakers are connected in LabSync.
- Speakers can quickly be put into LabSync mode with their button controls.
Android LabSync Guide:
The LabSync tab in the JLab app lets you assign Left or Right audio channels to connected speakers, and select whether to sync lighting effects and volume level between connected speakers.

- In the Cast tab, drag the slider to Left, Right, or Stereo to set the audio channel that this speaker will output during LabSync.
- Tap on "Start Casting" to place your speaker into LabSync.
- Tap on "Start Casting" to place your speaker into LabSync.

- Select Sync Volume if you want all Receiving speakers to match the volume level set on your phone and through the Casting speaker.
- If you do not Sync Volume, you will be able to independently adjust the volume level of speakers in your LabSync group through the volume wheels.
- This is beneficial if you're listening to the speakers at different distances.

- Select Sync Lights if you want all Receiving speakers to follow the same lighting animations, color, and speed as the Casting speaker.
- If you do not Sync Lights, you will be able to independently cycle lighting animations between speakers in your LabSync group.

- Returning from the LabSync tab, you can adjust the color, speed, and brightness for your LabSync group's lighting animations.

- To access Receive mode within the JLab app, your Party speaker will initially need to be connected with your phone's Bluetooth.

- If you did not select "Sync Lighting" for your Casting speaker, adjust your Receiving speaker's lighting animation settings before continuing to the LabSync tab.

- In the Receive tab, drag the slider to Left, Right, or Stereo to set the audio channel that this speaker will output during LabSync.
- Tap on "Start Receiving" to enter speaker into LabSync.

- Receiving speakers will disconnect from the JLab app while in LabSync mode.
- To exit LabSync mode and reconnect with the app, turn your speaker off and then back on.
- Turning off the Casting speaker first will automatically power off any connected Receiving speakers while in LabSync mode.
- LabSync and L/R/Stereo channel settings are remembered, and activate whenever the speakers are connected in LabSync.
